Proud Bangerang and Wiradjuri Elder, and co-Chair of the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria (FPAV) Aunty Geraldine Atkinson talks openly and passionately to Connection Matters Radio about some of the key recommendations contained in the FPAV’s Tyerri Yoo-rrook (“seed of truth”) report to the Yoo-rrook Justice Commission.

In discussing some of those recommendations, ranging from the need to apply a gender lens to the Commission’s work to the critical importance of protecting against trauma, Aunty Geraldine draws on her own experiences and those of her family on the Cummeragunja Station.
