At 10:45am on Sunday the 15th of October, following a defeat of the referendum that sought a First Nations Voice to Parliament enshrined in the Constitution, First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria co-Chair Rueben Berg and member Aunty Esme Bamblett held a press release at the Assembly’s offices in Collingwood.
