ACKNOWLEDGING OUR AMAZING PARTNERS

We recognise fully that without the support of incredible partners who believe in the work of VAN, we simply couldn’t keep on the road. Literally!

Partner: National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth and Justice

Partnering to achieve a common cause of promoting reconciliation and a greater understanding within the broader Australian community of First Nations' causes

National Centre Website

While the partnership between Victorian Aboriginal News and the National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth and Justice started in mid-2024, our relationship predates this by several years.

The director and founder of the Centre, Professor Andrew Gunstone, and VAN founder Charles Pakana joined together on numerous occasions throughout 2023 to speak publicly about the Voice to Parliament in the lead up to the failed 2023 referendum.

Since that time, both men have continued to collaborate on promoting the cause of reconciliation, speaking together on the VAN Talks podcast and at public events.

About the Centre: The National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth, and Justice explores regional and national understandings and engagements regarding reconciliation, truth, and justice, across industry, academic and community settings. This work is conducted through a rich program of education, engagement, outreach, and research activities.
