LIVE BROADCASTING YOUR EVENT
Commencing in 2024, Victorian Aboriginal News is launching its Live Broadcasting capability, totally free of charge to organisations and events in Aboriginal Victoria.
VAN is committed to ensuring initiatives within Aboriginal Victoria are given maximum possible coverage, and one of the ways we believe we can work towards that is providing an OB (outside broadcasting)/live streaming service.
At commencement of the service (January 2024), we are committing to providing at least 12 OBs per year. As we gain funding, our plan is to double this number. If you’d like your event covered, then get in contact with us and let’s start discussing.
We’re taking bokings for live broadcasts
Our new live broadcast service is ready!
If you’d like to speak with us about getting the VAN team on site to live broadcast your event, then use our contact form, which is located here. One of our team members will get in contact with you within 48 hours to discuss the process and determine if your event fits in with our criteria.
Audio Livestream
An incredibly straightforward form of livestreaming, an audio livestream delivers broadcast quality audio to listeners via the Victorian Aboriginal News Youtube channel.
Multi-Camera Livestream
With up to four cameras – a mix of Blackmagic Design 4K, GoPro and iPhone devices, depending on the event – and broadcast quality audio, you get an amazing broadcast experience.
Streamed and retained
One of the great things about the VAN broadcasts is that you end up with a copy of the broadcast for your own purposes. Throw it on your website or Youtube channel to continue the sharing experience.

IS IT REALLY FREE OF CHARGE?
Absolutely!
At Victorian Aboriginal News we operate on the basis that having coverage of news, current affairs and events shouldn’t cost you anything; and because we are independent, taking no fee means we’re not under anyone’s control.
Of course, we never say “no” to donations!
